In-Person Events πŸ‚

Unless there are some unexpectedly warm days forecasted, we will be transitioning to all indoor storytimes in the library’s meeting room.

We can safely have six families for storytime at any given session, which allows us plenty of space for social distancing. Masks will be required for all attendees ages 2 and up. Families (caregiver + child/children) will be seated together.

ο»Ώ

We are starting out small, but, depending on patron interest, we are happy to add more indoor sessions to our calendar. Thank you for bearing with us while we figure this all out! πŸ’š

Native American Heritage Month Nov20.jpg

Native American Heritage Month

In November, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month, which recognizes the many contributions to American society, culture, literature, art, and science by Indigenous peoples throughout history and today.

Native American Heritage Month has been officially recognized by the federal government since President George H.W. Bush approved a joint resolution in 1990.

Would you like to read books for NAHM, including #ownvoices books by Native American and Alaskan Native authors? We’ve got you covered! Come visit us in the library to check out our book display. You can also browse from the comfort of home by looking through the book carousel on our website. Just click this link:

Vox _2_.png

Check out our newest collection of books for kids...VOX BOOKS!

VOX combines picture books with embedded audio recordings, so your child can read along with such favorites as "Goodnight Moon," "Click, Clack, Moo," and "The Bad Seed." The best part? Your child just pushes a button and the story begins! There's nothing to download, no need for a device or Internet connection... just one push of a button.

Check out the collection by clicking here.

PS: Our VOX collection will double in December! πŸ€—
