FINAL OLYMPIC RACES
There are two races left in the 2022 Winter Olympic Games for our APU Skiers and Team USA: the Men's 50km tonight and the Women's 30km tomorrow! The Men's 50km Freestyle will feature Scott Patterson at 9:00pm AK time, and the Women's 30km Freestyle will feature Rosie Brennan and Jessica Yeaton at 9:30pm AK time tomorrow (Saturday). All races are subject to change, so please keep your eyes on peacock and the Olympic schedule. Each race will be live streamed on Peacock. We are SO excited to watch and cheer them on from home! ROSIE BRENNAN & JESSIE DIGGINS PLACE 5TH

Team USA had 1 women's team and 1 men's team racing in Wednesday’s classic team sprint featuring Rosie Brennan & Jessie Diggins and JC Schoonmaker & Ben Ogden. “It was good…a solid day,” Rosie Brennan said. “I think it was one of my better classic races this week, so I’m really happy to have put it together by the end of the Olympics. I did what I could to stay in contact to give Jessie her best shot.” Jessie lead the group in each of her laps and gave the race everything she had towards the end, helping team USA finish 5th overall. Team Australia with APU Nordic's Jessica Yeaton came in 16th overall, 8th in the semi-finals. Jessica and her relay partner Casey Wright have been racing together since the 2015 World Championships in their first team sprint relay.

We are looking forward to watching the distance freestyle races this weekend and will be rooting on our skiers and team USA!! All races will be live streamed on the NBC app Peacock.

UPCOMING RACES
With the Olympics winding down, there is still lots of racing to go! APU Skiers will be competing throughout the world from Juniors Nationals to period 4 of the World Cup until the end of March. Next week the Junior & U23 World Championships will commence in Lygna, Norway where we will have 2 skiers, Zanden McMullen and Michael Earnheart racing as part of team USA.
