Shooters...
Another awesome weekend at Scarborough Fish & Game. We are really excited to say that this was our best attended State Warm Up shoot ever. The weather was perfect (almost 90 on Sunday), the targets were technical and challenging (especially 5 Stand), and we had a guest cook who did great job with lunch.
NEWS
PUBLIC SPORTING CLAYS
All three courses will be up this Wednesday from 10am to 4pm and again Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Come on back and practice some more.
RESULTS
This year's State Warm Up was very technical. Dan Warner took HOA with a 96. He was followed closely by Steve Card with a 95. Congratulations to both. Super Sporting was really fun. We had a tie between Kevin Kennedy and Dan Linker both with 96. Kevin won after tie breaker. Congratulations to both. 5 Stand was a little tougher with a little more distance to trip some people up. John Carbone won with an impressive 49. Earle Glidden was runner up with a 46. Congratulations to both!
THANK YOU
We want to thank guest cook, Mary Hewitt, for filling in preparing lunch both days. Thanks to Lisa and Bill for registration and scoring. Thanks to Bernie Raimo for helping to set the targets. Thanks to Jim, Tom, Bill, Steve, Pam, and Neal for filling and stocking all those traps. Special thanks to Andy Robidoux for keeping the course running all weekend...he worked hard in all that heat.
Well now all eyes turn to the Maine State Championship on June 22 through the 25. Most of you know this is the one we go all out for and this year will be no exception. We already have a lot of exciting presentations planned so you wont want to miss it.
