Shooters...
Another great summer weekend at Scarborough Fish & Game. Perfect summer weather, fun targets and great food…the way Maine should be.
PUBLIC SPORTING CLAYS
We will have both events' targets up this Wednesday from 10am - 5pm and next Sunday from 10am - 2pm. Come on back and try the targets again.
RESULTS
We had our first registered Five Stand event this weekend, and it went really well. We got a lot of positive feedback and plan on doing it again in October. Earle Glidden took HOA with a 48. He was followed close by Frank DeLuca with a 47 (both of them missed the Number 2 bird, twice)...Congratulations to both! The Maine Open was challenging and fun. Greg Welch won with a 95. Earle Glidden was close behind with a 94...Congratulations to both. Super Sporting is always popular and well attended. The targets were really fun, and we had a new name at the top...B Class shooter, Carl Musilek, won with a 94...great to see new winners! Frank DeLuca took runner up with a 93. Congratulations to both!
OLD ZONE ONE CHAMPIONSHIP
Now that the Maine Open is in the books we are looking forward to the Old Zone One Championship, which as you all know, includes the 2022 ALL STAR SHOOT OFF and Calcutta. Details are being finalized, but you won't want to miss it...so mark you calendars for September 16-18. The All Star Shoot off will start Saturday, September 17, at 2pm, with the Calcutta followed by the shoot off.
