SCARBOROUGH FISH & GAME SPORTING CLAYS
April 29 - May 2, 2021
FINAL RESULTS
Shooters...
Well I have to say it…another great weekend at Scarborough Fish & Game. It was our first big blow out shoot of the year, and it was a good one. We had a little rain on Friday and a little wind on Saturday, but overall it was a good weekend to be out shooting. We are seeing a lot of new faces lately and now a lot of the regulars are back too.

PUBLIC SPORTING
PLEASE NOTE...The Main event course and the Prelim course will both be open again this Wednesday from 10am - 5pm. We will be CLOSED THIS SUNDAY for Mother's Day, so we will leave the targets up next week as well, and will be open next Wednesday 10am - 5pm and next Sunday 10am - 2pm. Come on back and practice what you missed.

RESULTS
The new 100 target 20 gauge event was a lot of fun. It was a great way to get used to the sub gauge gun again. Congratulations to Earle Glidden for winning with a 95. Runner up was Dave Larkin with a 94. Congratulations Earle and Dave.

The 100 target Super Sporting was very popular again and it was a fun set of targets. Once again it was won by Earle Glidden with a 97. He was followed by Ethan Hess with a 95. Congratulations to both.

The Prelim had some challenging but fun targets and we heard a lot of compliments about the targets. The winning pattern continued with Earle Glidden taking HOA with a 96. He was followed closely by Bert Temple with a 95. Congratulations to both.

The Main event turned out to be the most challenging event of the weekend. We saw some speed, some distance, and a lot of technicality. This was the hardest set of targets since the state championship last summer. We had a tie for first place between Gordon Brooks and Nolan Card, both with 92. Gordon won by tie breaker. That was some great shooting by both on some very difficult targets. Congratulations to both.

The sub gauge course was very popular all weekend. Everyone got to shoot targets thrown from the new platform. Congratulations to the following winners:
20ga: CH Earle Glidden 49; RU Ethan Hess 49
28ga: CH Neal Smith 49; RU Earle Glidden 48
.410 bore: CH Ethan Hess 42; RU Kevin Kennedy 41
12ga: CH Earle Glidden 49; RU Dan Linker  47
12ga Fluff: CH Neal Smith 49; RU David Obolewicz 49
Super Sporting 50: CH Earle Glidden 50; RU Ken Hartshorn 47
Pump: CH Ethan Hess 47; RU Earle Glidden 43
SxS: CH Chuck DeVinne 46; RU Earle Glidden 45

Congratulations, again, to all the winners!
