Shooters...
Well we got bit by the weather on Sunday but it was still a great weekend at Scarborough Fish & Game. Saturday was fine and Sunday late morning/afternoon was good too, but Sunday morning got a little wet. We were treated to something different this weekend with Long Bird / Shot Bird and I have to say it was very fun. Some targets were so close they just evaporated and others had a big delay before they broke, if they broke. Either way, we saw a lot of smiles and heard a lot of laughter.
IMPORTANT NEWS
First, if you haven’t heard already we have 12ga ammo available. You can purchase what you plan to use at Scarborough. So if you're running short, you can still come have fun.
Second, as always, the targets from both events will be open Wednesday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm. So come on out and try them again - we're thinking the Long Bird machines will be using a lot of targets.
RESULTS
The Main event, the Big Easy, wasn’t that easy for some. Chuck DeVinne seemed to handle it ok winning with a 95 for HOA. He was followed close by Gary Mason with a 94 for Runner Up...good shooting and congratulations to both!
The event that brought all the smiles was Long Bird / Short Bird. Wasn’t it fun when you hit one of those 70 yard targets. We had a tie for HOA between Ethan Hess and Earle Glidden, both with 88. Ethan won by tie breaker. Congratulations to both - that was some great shooting!

We want to thank Greg and Sharon Berry for preparing and serving lunch. It is soooo nice to finally have them back. Thanks to Lisa and Bill for registration and scoring. Thanks to Jim, Bill, Tom, Neal, Steve and Pam for helping to fill and stock the course. Also, special thanks to Lisa for learning on the go (and under pressure) and putting this shoot on Score Chaser. We've already received some happy texts and emails about people easily finding the scores.
Our next shoot will be The Maine Open, Saturday - Sunday, August 14 - 15. Pre-registration will open next Monday, July 26.
