OPEN ENROLLMENT ENDS JANUARY 15

The marathon effort to connect people with the health insurance marketplace through the annual open enrollment period is coming to an end. People have until the end of Wednesday, January 15, to sign up for coverage if they want to get a marketplace health plan that will start on Saturday, February 1.

Enroll Wyoming encourages individuals, families, small businesses, and nonprofits that need affordable health insurance to reach out now because marketplace requirements are stricter in the special enrollment period that follows. People who currently qualify for health coverage under open enrollment may have to wait until the next open enrollment period to apply for coverage that would not begin until 2026.

Time is short, but trained experts from Enroll Wyoming are available to help people understand applications and compare options. Thanks to grant funding, all of our services are free. Schedule an appointment by visiting EnrollWyo.org or call 211 to connect with a health insurance navigator.

HOW DO YOU USE HEALTH INSURANCE ONCE YOU GET IT?

Enroll Wyoming invests a lot of time and effort in helping people find health coverage, but our work doesn't stop there. We also help families use their health insurance with confidence.

People can start by reviewing health plan details like how to fill drug prescriptions, find an in-network doctor, or get emergency care. In addition, remember that all marketplace plans offer essential health benefits -- like mental and behavioral health services and preventative care.

If you have difficulty finding answers, Enroll Wyoming remains a free resource to help households increase health insurance literacy and find the care they need.

PLEASE TELL AT LEAST ONE MORE PERSON ABOUT ENROLL

With only a few days to go, we are asking partners to do what they can to let people know about health coverage options and the free support offered by Enroll Wyoming.

We cannot emphasize enough the Wednesday, Jan. 15, deadline for open enrollment. We don't want to disappoint people who could have qualified if only they contacted us earlier.

Whether you share a post, include a brief in an email or newsletter, or talk to a friend or neighbor, we appreciate what could be a life-changing effort.
