Canon Young

December is a busy month for churches!  While it should be all about Advent and preparations for Christmas, most of us are finishing up our stewardship drive, finalizing next year's budget and finding new vestry members. As I write this, the Thomas Fire continues to burn out of control reminding us of our vulnerabilities.
All of this makes it so hard to stay centered and focused on what sustains us. Praying that you remember the words of the angels.

"Do not be afraid; for behold I bring you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord."

Advent and Christmas Blessings,

Canon Julie Young
