Free grant finding database now open to Diocesan users

Are you planning a church or community project and would you like to find funding?

The Stewardship and Income Generation team, in partnership with Funding4Community, and the Dioceses of Manchester and Chester now have access to one of the UKs largest funding portals enabling you to find a funder for your project, whether it be for your church or community.

We are holding another webinar session with Matthew Godfrey from Funding4Community who will demonstrate the portal of the database and give tips for finding the right funder for your project. The session will be on Thursday 23rd June at 12noon to 1pm.

We will be following up this webinar with our own 'How to Write a Great Grant Application' webinar on Monday 27th June at 2pm-2.45pm. All the webinars will be recorded and available for you to view afterwards on our training webpage.

PGS givers maintain support for churches in the face of high inflation 

It is good to learn from the Parish Giving Scheme Team that despite rising inflation, which is affecting us all, 59% of all PGS givers in the Diocese of Leeds are continuing to opt in to increase their giving annually by the rate of inflation. Such continued generosity is hugely appreciated and will help support your church to maintain it’s mission and meet rising every day costs.

New webinar from Ecclesiastical - How to find core costs for churches

The webinar will be introduced by the Church Team at Ecclesiastical and facilitated by expert speakers Gill Jolly, from the Directory of Social Change, and Andrew Evans, from Philanthropy Company. They will share guidance to help churches better secure funding for essential day-to-day costs, cover where churches can go for these type of funds, how to frame the need for these costs and develop income generating activities.  

The session is on Wednesday 4th May from 2-3.30pm on Zoom. There will be an hour-long presentation with 30 minutes for churches to ask any questions they may have. Please click the button below to book your place.

Online Giving - all you need to know in 1 hour webinar
