ORC's Drag Race

Drag meets Sport in a Very Special Competition! Introducing the Ottawa Rowing Club Drag Race, a Drag Show and Erg Relay Race featuring local Drag performers fundraising for LGBTQ2+ athletes in sport! Local talent include Eden Moore as our MC, as well as Stella Soleil, Deca Thlon, and Caligula as our competitors!

Our Drag race will be combining sport and drag with the evening divided into three events; an Erg relay race with teams made up of ORC athletes and our drag queen guests, an erg sprint between the queens, followed by the drag show.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of Capital Pride’s Community Projects Fund. You can buy tickets here using the button below!

We are looking for 12 athletes from across our Junior, Senior, and Masters Programs to fill our teams. Several athletes have already volunteered, so spaces are filling up!

We will be looking for other volunteers as well, including those with smart serve. Please contact Brendan Edge, athlete.representative@ottawarowingclub.com if you are interested in volunteering.

ORC at Capital Pride

ORC will be hosting a table at the Capital Pride Street Festival on Bank Street Aug 26th and 27th to introduce Pride goers to rowing and the programs at ORC. This will be from 9-5 each day.

We will need volunteers, ideally from all programs to help us show off the best of ORC and our sport!

Please contact Brendan Edge, athlete.representative@ottawarowingclub.com if you are interested in volunteering.
