  •  Undergraduate  students: To apply for a Syracuse University Grant, also file the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE. Read more about renewing aid requirements.
  • File your applications by the April 15 deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will result in aid being awarded on a funds available basis.
Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to transfer IRS info directly to your FAFSA. Two weeks after you (and your parents) complete your income taxes, a link to the IRS will be available in your FAFSA. By clicking this link, your IRS data will  be transferred to your FAFSA.  If you already filed your FAFSA using estimated figures, go back and use the DRT to ensure you have completed the application accurately. Read more about DRT.
