The Finance Deacons are pleased to share our First Quarter 2026 Endowment Update. Attached you will find the detailed investment report prepared by our advisors at Morgan Stanley. We share this report as part of our commitment to transparency and faithful stewardship of the resources entrusted to our church.



The first quarter brought increased volatility to the financial markets, resulting in modest declines for our endowment funds. While short-term market performance naturally rises and falls, the General Endowment has earned 11.7% over the past 12 months, reflecting the strength of our long-term investment approach (individual endowment fund results are attached). We remain confident that our diversified strategy will continue to position these funds to support the ministry of our church for years to come.

The Endowment Funds are more than financial assets—they represent the faithful generosity and lasting legacy of those who have invested in the future ministry of Myers Park Covenant Church. Through careful stewardship today, these resources will continue to support the mission and ministry of our church for generations to come.

The Finance Deacons continue to work closely with our investment advisors at Morgan Stanley to ensure the Endowment Funds are managed in accordance with our long-term investment policy. We regularly review the portfolio's performance, asset allocation, and overall strategy, always with the goal of balancing prudent risk management and long-term growth.
