Isabel Ting is a data analyst on a federal contract with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, advancing Afghan refugee resettlement efforts. Isabel was previously a paralegal at Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld LLP in San Francisco, advocating for incarcerated people with disabilities.

In her spare time, she has volunteered as a grant writer and website designer for Lauren's House, an education nonprofit based in East Palo Alto that provides free after-school programs for at-risk youth. Philip Morris, the CEO and Founder of Journey Health, brings over a decade of executive leadership experience within the healthcare sector. Driven by the core belief that your zip code should not dictate the level of care you receive, Journey Health utilizes a hyper-local, community-informed approach to improving access for the most vulnerable patient populations.

Philip's career began at Alameda Health System. This early experience shaped his understanding of the complexities of integrating social care into the traditional healthcare delivery system and serves as the catalyst for the work of Journey Health.

Heatstroke Prevention

It's getting warmer, and summer is on the way. Now is the time to stay safe and prepare for extreme heat. This month, we have a tip to help prevent a child from experiencing heatstroke. The inside of a car gets hot fast. Stop and look before leaving the car. Your child could be in the back seat.

Visit HeatReadyCA.com and make checking the back seat part of a personalized extreme heat plan for your family.

Prepare for Extreme Heat

We are thrilled to have partnered with the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC), which manages the State’s highest-priority community engagement and public awareness efforts, including extreme heat. Through this partnership, we'll be sharing more critical information on a number of important topics with you throughout the year to ensure that community members in Alameda County are informed and prepared.
