"If it wasn't for IPM I would have had to borrow the money from my cousin for school supplies. I finally got a job today, so funds have been short for awhile. It's just me and my daughter, so I want to do the best for her." -Dad
"Oh, this means so much. You have no idea. I don't know what I would have done without you. I lost my job in April, and I never would have made it through. It's not just the food. It's the personal care products and now even school supplies. You are amazing."

Back to School Looks a Little Different this Year
As children prepared to return to school facing many changes related to COVID-19, IPM's school supply distribution also made adjustments this year. What did not change was more than 200 local students in need knew they could count on IPM for school supplies, food and tons of fresh produce.

Remaining mindful of public health, IPM provided a drive-through school supply distribution, but families appreciated the convenience, safety and ease of the pickup process and expressed gratitude that they were able to obtain the much-needed essentials for starting school, whether online or in person.

Special thanks to our friends at Mt. Carmel Christian Church for helping us make this possible!
"This helps so much. I don't even have a supply list yet, so knowing that the essentials are taken care of makes me feel so much less stress. With five children in our family, it is really hard to get everything they all need."
-Mom of five
Friends of IPM gathered virtually last month to celebrate Christmas in July and play Trivia on Zoom. This online event was fun for all who played, especially the winning team, The Quaran-Team, who shared, "Our family had a really great time being 'together' with all of you during Trivia Night! My oldest daughter actually told me she had so much fun, she’s definitely going to do this again. In fact, we will all do this again."

Because of YOUR participation in Christmas in July, the proceeds will help IPM share nearly 27,000 meals with families in need! Whether you bid on auction items, bought raffle tickets or played virtual trivia, you played a part in the success of this event. Thank you!
Thank You For Making Christmas In July A Merry One For IPM!
