Jasmine Yukimura is currently a nursing lecturer at Kaua'i Community College and registered nurse at Kaua'i Medical Clinic. A proud graduate of University of Hawai'i at Mānoa and Kaua'i Community College Nursing Program, she was inspired to pursue a full-time career in teaching after the opportunity to work alongside the nursing professors and students. Prior to working at Kaua'i Community College, she was the Program Director at Kaua'i Adult Day Health where she was responsible for managing and developing the center with programs and collaborating with community partners to meet the social, physical, and healthcare needs of the participants and their families. Her background working in geriatrics and with the Kaua'i community has made her nursing career meaningful and she is excited to share her knowledge and experience with her students. In her free time, Jasmine can be found at the beach or the soccer field with her family. |
