Ahu Memorial in Loving Memory of Kauai CC Nursing Alumni Justin Bautista


Justin Bautista's classmates and the nursing program gathered around the ahu to share aloha, prayers, and love in memory of Justin on December 1. Justin was a KCC Nursing Alumni of 2017.

UH Mānoa College of Education Information Session


This session is open to the public and is for anyone who may be interested in learning about our statewide online teacher licensure programs at the undergraduate and graduate level! The College of Education (COE) at UH Mānoa offers a variety of teacher licensure programs that can be taken from any island in the state. Join us to learn more or ask questions about our programs, funding available to support tuition costs, and how to apply! The session will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 4-5:30 p.m. at Kauai CC LRC 124A. Kaua‘i CC Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander "Scheduling for Success"


Kaua‘i CC NHPI "Scheduling for Success" work was highlighted at the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) 48th Annual Conference in a panel session titled, "Centering Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander student success: Perspectives from an Institutional Capacity Building Initiative."

Kauai CC Music Ensemble Instructor On the Move in NYC!


A huge congratulations goes out to KCC Music Ensemble Instructor, Sarah Tochiki, who was selected from more than 900 applicants nationwide for one of the 415 spots in the Band Directors Marching Band’s appearance in the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade!

Mahalo to everyone who participated in this years Lā Kū‘oko‘a campus events! Approximately 125 faculty, staff, students and community members joined us for our Campus Pa‘ina which included activities such as kōnane, ku‘i kalo, kapa making and an interactive timeline by Kanaeokana.

Andrew Yamamoto - Human Resources Manager


Andrew was born and raised on Kaua’i. He attended Kauai Community College and The University of Hawaii at Manoa. Andrew graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from the Shidler College of Business with an emphasis  in Human Resources Management. He’s spent over a decade in Human Resources working in various industries such as Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Transportation, and Government. In his spare time he enjoys eating, traveling, and “attempting to golf.”
