Spring 2024 Registration


Spring 2024 Registration is open! Early registration is highly encouraged because classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Your registration start date is based on your student standing at your home institution. To view your registration date and total credits at your home institution, log into STAR GPS. To help you register for courses, we encourage you to meet with your advisor.

Good Jobs, Kaua‘i CC OCET and Dev-Island Partnership


Through Good Jobs Hawaii, Kauai Community College's Office of Continuing Education and Training has a partnership with Dev-Island. Dev-Island will have its next graduating class complete their program in February 2024! Check out how Dev-Island is helping Kauai's residents! Good Jobs Hawaiʻi offers free skills training in Hawai‘i’s high-demand sectors including: Healthcare, Technology, Clean energy/Skilled trades, and Creative industries. After completing the course, participants will be connected with local businesses to explore potential employment opportunities. The program will offer employment readiness support and wrap-around services to prepare participants to apply for good jobs statewide.

Guest Speaker: Kalehua Krug



Almost sixty individuals gathered at Kaua’i Community College to listen to guest speaker and scholar, Kalehua Krug, PhD on the topic of KULEANA. As the current Principal and Po’o Kumu of Ka Waihona Public Charter School, he shared how rediscovering his indigenous heritage has helped him to develop philosophies based on cultural practices as well as observable data.

Welcome! New Student Success Navigator

Siera Alaibilla-Lagundino: Student Success Navigator


Born and raised in Waimea, Siera graduated from Waimea High School in 2015 and started her educational journey at Kaua'i Community College as a recipient of the Waiʻaleʻale Scholarship Program. In 2019, she graduated with an AA in Liberal Arts and transferred to UH Manoa where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2021. In 2022, she completed graduate school and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work with a Specialization in Health.


All the while Siera has been working as a student mentor, and casual hire educational coach with the the Waiʻaleʻale Project, Kīpaipai Program and UH Manoa’s Na Hokua program.

Lā Kū‘oko‘a Events

When: Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Where: Campus Lo`i

We're celebrating Lā Kū‘oko‘a, Hawaiʻi’s Independence Day, all Nowemapa long (officially on November 28). Join us for our next event, Ku‘i Kalo, during Taropy Tuesday at the campus lo‘i from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Please check out the flyer for the rest of our activities!

Free Pop-up Thanksgiving Food Distribution

When: Monday, Nov. 20 from 1-3 p.m.

Where:  KCC Parking Lot P3 in front of the Performing Arts Center

Hawaiʻi Foodbank Kauaʻi Branch and Hale Mālama are bringing another food distribution for students to campus on Monday, Nov. 20th, from 1-3 p.m. The Foodbank will be bringing items for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, including frozen turkeys! There is enough for 100 families, so please REGISTER here ahead of time to ensure you get yours. We are also seeking out volunteers for the distribution.

Learn about campus leadership and governance, provide opportunity for input, and review action plans in progress for improvement in OCET 106 C/D from 1-2 p.m.

Kaua‘i CC representatives (Kalei Carvalho, Rhonda Liu, Kimi Nagahisa, Roy Piliere and Shelley Sutter) showcased different programs and services found at the college during the November 2nd Career Exploration Fair at Kapa‘a High School.
