Nursing Students Received $30K in Scholarships


Over the years, the Mokihana club has provided over $300,000 in scholarships to 240 students. This year the club provided $40,000 in scholarships to 18 Kaua’i Community College students and 2 Kaua’i students enrolled in B.S.N. programs.

Career Exploration Fair


Kaua‘i CC (Career Center, Counseling, HOST, University Center) participated in the Kaua‘i Economic Development Board's Career Exploration Fair at Kapa‘a High School. The next fair will be at Waimea High School on November 9, then Kaua‘i High School on November 20.

Welcome! New Creative Media Instructor

Joseph Tremonti: Instructor for Creative Media


Joseph Tremonti is a designer and award-winning landscape photographer based in Kalaheo. He began his teaching career at Kapiʻolani Community College in 2002 and helped to develop one of the top digital media curriculums in the University of Hawaii system. From here Joseph joined Southwestern Oregon Community College and launched a highly-successful Digital Design program. Joseph joined Kauaʻi Community College in 2023 and currently teaches courses in digital photography, graphic design, and visual art.

2023 NHEA Scholarship `Aha Event

When: Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 4-7 p.m.

Where: One Stop Center

Our event will take place at the Kauaʻi Community College - One Stop Center from 4-7 p.m. The purpose is to share information on Native Hawaiian scholarships available for the 2024-2025 school year, learn more about the upcoming FAFSA, and get assistance in creating your Federal Student Aid ID username & password that is needed for the FAFSA.

Where: Fine Arts Auditorium

The Annual Health Fair is a family-friendly event, and we encourage you to bring your loved ones to make the most of this day filled with education, community engagement, and fun activities. Where: Campus Lo`i

Virtual Kaua'i Climate Action Forum: Towards a Fair and Sustainable Food System for Hawaiʻi

Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m.


This panel discussion will feature individuals and organizations working to shift our local food system using a variety of tools and practices. Each of our panelists will provide examples of ways you can engage to create a more fair, sustainable and climate resilient food system here in Hawaiʻi. This forum will be on Zoom.
