Congratulations to Office Assistant, Carol D. Llego for 20 years of service in the month of May.

Congratulations to Maureen Tabura for who was awarded the Board of Regents Medal for Teaching Excellence. Tabura is an assistant professor in the nursing program at Kauaʻi Community College and has been teaching for more than 17 years. 

Ohana Night

Where: Learning Resource Center

All students interested in attending KCC are welcome to bring their ohana to enjoy some pupus and to talk story with KCC faculty and staff. Interested students can learn about college admissions, different programs, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and more.

Kaua‘i Forest Bird Recovery Project

When: Tuesday, August 8 @ 6-8 p.m.

Where: Fine Arts Auditorium

With an Innovation Grant from the County of Kaua’i, KFBRP was able to produce a documentary about their efforts to save the last ‘akikiki from extinction.
