Best Week Ever

The Downtown Excelsior Partnership is having the Best Week Ever after successfully pulling off another Wine Fest! The weather was hot, but no rain risked the festival in its 16th year! Over 20 wineries participated, offering tastings from over 85 wines!

Coming Soon

The Excelsior Springs Rotary is bringing back the Grocery Grab with another chance to win a "supermarket sweep" through Price Chopper! 


$10 tickets are being sold for a 5 minute run of the store filling your cart with groceries! Five other winners will go home with great prizes but only one gets to do the Grocery Grab!


If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, message the Excelsior Citizen Facebook page and we will get them to you!

The old GB's location on Jesse James Road is under contract and the town is a buzz about what it could be!

There were 14 citizens that sought shelter temporarily at Cornerstone Elementary during storms this week. Thanks to ESFD for opening it for them!

The ESHS Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducting the Tiger Hall of Fame Class of 2022 on August 10th!

Genealogical Society Hosts Excelsior Springs Founding Family - Million-Finley

When it comes to history in Excelsior Springs, you can find the names of founding families on historic buildings and street signs throughout the downtown area. Honoring and recognizing the community’s founding families is something that the Excelsior Springs Genealogical Society has been working on since 2017.
