Every year at the Crisis Center’s annual Cup of Compassion breakfast, Robin Moch shakes her head as she is handed her name tag. As a Circle of Help sustainer, Women in Action member, Legacy Society member, corporate partner, and event sponsor, Robin always has a long trail of ribbons adorning her name tag which draws a lot of unintended attention.
When Robin first started working for M.E. Wilson 15 years ago, she was told of their corporate involvement with the Crisis Center. Having driven by the main location on Bearss, she was aware that the Crisis Center existed but did not know the extent of the services provided. As time went on and Robin learned more about the Crisis Center, she steadily increased her support.
Having learned from her father the value of “giving with a warm hand,” Robin and her wife Elsie go above and beyond to be ambassadors for the Crisis Center. Robin hosts a table at the Cup of Compassion fundraiser every year, introducing friends and business acquaintances to the mission. Robin and Elsie attend community events that benefit the Crisis Center, such as Beer & Bow Ties and the SpeakUp5k. Additionally, Robin has brought countless guests to Women in Action luncheons over the years to hear about vital Crisis Center services.
While there is no ribbon for Community Ambassador, Robin and Elsie have always been dedicated advocates for the Crisis Center throughout the community.
