Creating Content for the Right Person
Hello,

We talk a lot about creating content but if you don’t know who you are creating the content for your hard work can end up being a waste of time. I think we have all done that at one time in our business or career where we created work for a specific market and then had nothing happen afterwards. This is why knowing who you are trying to reach is the first and most important step in the process. We call it knowing your Avatar and is the step many put the least amount of effort into, yet it makes the biggest difference in how you develop your content. How do you find your Avatar and ensure you are talking to the right audience?

Personalizing the group or people you want to reach is the strongest way that I have found to do this. I like to picture a person in my life and create content as though that person is the only one that will see it. I name them, know their habits, and can see their likes or dislikes.

Listen to this tip on how
to find your perfect avatar
Once you know that person and what they like to do or where they like to go you can then start creating content for that person. You can go to groups that they like to hang out in and start reaching them through their own networks. It really is about spending the time to learn about those people.
Avatar Workbook
I don’t have an app for you this month but I still have something that can help you. I have included a pdf of part of a book I published in 2017 to give you a place to work on ideas to help you reach your Avatar. Just click the attachment below.

Good luck finding your perfect avatar, remember really get to know them.

So I hope that helps you create content that can be shared after the day it was created allowing you to build your audience by sharing it over and over again.
