After School Program 2026-2027

#MBParks is hosting an after-school program for kids in grades K-12. These structured and supervised programs are offered at various sites and include activities like games, sports, tournaments, theme events, physical fitness and specialized clubs.

2 PM - 6 PM (Hours vary by location)

Fee: $774 for residents | $1,758 for nonresidents

The program is free to all teens enrolled in a Miami Beach school.

A non-school day package is available for all teacher planning days as well as the week of Thanksgiving, Winter Break and Spring Break. Available at Flamingo Park, Muss Park, North Shore Park and Scott Rakow Youth Center.

Play Time Program

Sign your child up for our Play Time Program! The program offers dancing, singing, arts & crafts and some academics.

Yearly fee: $628 residents / $1,555 nonresidents

Children must be potty-trained and between the ages of 3 and 4 by the program start date. Birth certiticate and immunization records are required.

#MBParks Fall Athletics

Play like a champ and join us for our fall athletic programs starting Tuesday, September 8 through Tuesday, November 10.

The different types of athletics include recreation and travel baseball and soccer, recreation basketball, volleyball, flag football and fencing (ages vary for all sports).

Registration begins Monday, August 10 for residents and Monday, August 17 for nonresidents.

Teen Club Programming Continues to Be Open for Registration

Miami Beach Flag Football 3Q'26 Camp

Miami Beach Flag Football is excited to host an NFL Flag-affiliated Youth Boys & Girls 3Q'26 Camp for ages 5-15.

This camp, led by MBSH boys’ football and girls’ flag football coach Wilkie Perez, is all about building skills and having fun! Kids will work on individual techniques, run drills, learn offensive and defensive strategies and enjoy scrimmages and friendly competition.

It’s a fantastic chance for young athletes to learn the game, make new friends and get inspired by Coach Perez and his team. Participants will be grouped by age, skill level and/or size to ensure a great experience for everyone.

Price for full 8 weeks is $249 plus $3.50 transaction fee and includes 8 sessions, 8 total hours of instruction plus a high-quality reversible NFL FLAG sublimated jersey. The last session of the 8-week camp will include a complimentary lunch for our players. Second, third and fourth participants within same family each get a discounted price.

Price and discounts are pro-rated at the 25% / 50% / 75% completion points of the 8-week camp. Registration will remain open until the last day of camp.

Public and private schools with 5 or more paid participant registrations will each get $100 donations to their PTSA organization.

High school students can volunteer in the Adaptive Inclusionary Mentor (AIM) after school and/or the Special Abilities program, earning community service hours while supporting our students with special needs in a fun, engaging and inclusive environment.

Free Classes for Seniors 55+

You're never too old to play! Free classes that promote a healthy lifestyle while having fun are available for Miami Beach adults 55 and older.

Dog Beach Daily Hours

While we love our furry friends, pets are prohibited on the beach. However, there are three designated "bark beaches" in Miami Beach so your pup can still play on the sand. Check out our dog beach hours below.

• South Beach, 21 Street 
• Mid Beach, 53 Street
• North Beach, 81 Street

Daily Hours:

• April - October: 9 AM - 11 AM
• November - March: 7 AM - 9 AM

The North Beach location at 81 Street is open for the following additional hours from Friday through Sunday:

• March - October: 3 PM - 7 PM
• November - February: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
