Dear ITP,
Our first issue of 2025 invites us to explore the meaning of ground and grounding in our lives. Our contributors share stories and offer practices to shed light on the benefits of connecting intimately with the ground. What does ground mean to you?
George Leonard often said the most valuable practice to learn from an ITP workshop is balancing and centering. Let's give it a try now with simply grounding yourself!
As an experiment, if willing, place your feet on the ground and notice what occurs for you. What are you aware of and how do you feel? As you move through your day, take note of your experience when grounded and when not. You can always return to a grounded state using your powers of awareness with lots of compassion and love mixed in with lots of compassion and love mixed in!
As the world turns, life on our wondrous planet is presenting us with opportunities galore where grounding can be a useful practice, even a lifesaver. Enjoy the exploration of grounding by reading the articles shared with you to deepen your practice and nourish you.
Thank you for your presence in our ITP community. Together we can imagine and create a world which enlivens and nurtures all of life.
Blessings of peace, love and joy,
Pam Kramer
