WHAT’S THE LOCAL SALES MARKET DOING?

In the Kootenay region, there were 302 units that sold in the month of May 2022, 7.1% lower than April 2022 and 6.3% lower than the 336 sales in March 2022.

Average prices saw double-digit percentage increases across all home categories compared to May 2021, with the greatest increase occurring within the condominium category with a 37.3% increase.

SUPPORTING OUR 2022 MOUNT BAKER GRADUATES

After 2 years of no events, the Graduating Class of 2022 is excited to be celebrating with a formal Prom again this year. The Prom Committee is selling Grad Signs to raise funds for this special event, which is taking place June 24th, 2022. All proceeds from these signs are going towards reducing the cost of ticket prices for the graduates. The Prom is 100% run by parents and students this year and our costs are now approaching $14,000! The more money they can raise, the less burden on students. As always, the committee so much appreciates the generosity of this amazing community as they couldn’t make this possible without you!

If businesses are interested in purchasing a sign, the cost is $25.00.
