Words From An Attendee

I have always believed in the strength and impact that public service can have for individuals and communities. That is why I was very excited

to attend this year's Annual ASPA Awards. Having worked for a myriad of elected officials for the past ten years, I was unsure whether I fit the 'public administrator' category. However, my interest in the public sect

or was renewed after listening to the incredible accomplishments and career paths of our awardees. From a tireless health care advocate to transportation gurus and academics, I was truly inspired by their experiences and stories. Most importantly, I felt like I belonged. I hope to join this year as a new member and learn from a wide range of professionals as they train the next generation of leaders!
