The Diversity and Reconciliation Commission of The Diocese of West Missouri has successfully completed its first book study using “Just Mercy” by Bryan Stevenson. Thirty-six individuals and the entire Vestry of Calvary Church, Sedalia participated in this enlightening and powerful discussion over Zoom.

Episcopal Relief & Development is partnering with the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas as it provides emergency assistance in response to Hurricane Hanna in the Rio Grande Valley. The diocese is supplying food, household supplies, and access to medical support for undocumented families and other vulnerable communities.

The Episcopal Church Department of Faith Formation, in collaboration with the 2020 Episcopal Youth Event (EYE20) planning team and Episcopal Church leadership, announced today that the Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) will not be convened this triennium due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The 131^st Annual Convention of The Diocese of West Missouri

God willing and the Special Convention (October 3) approving, the 131^st Annual Convention of The Diocese of West Missouri will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020.

The convention will be broadcast on Social Media.

When the current diocesan website was first built over six years ago it had a couple of dozen pages or so. Now it has grown to over 270. With all that growth, the content has become more difficult to find and increasingly difficult to manage and update. This summer we have started work on moving all the administrative content to office.diowestmo.org.

All of Bishop Marty's visitations were canceled in March. You will need to re-arrange visits for your church. All clergy were recently sent a survey to complete regarding their readiness to recommence visitations.
