Coronavirus has hit us all hard, and Starship is no exception. We have been busy consolidating our offices into just one location. We have closed the Arlington Heights office, but we are still here for all our clients in our South Elgin location! We have also been taking this time at home to update our website with all our favorite trips, so check out our revamped site to see trips from around the world! We are ready and can't wait to get our clients traveling again soon!

A Letter from the President

2020 had really started out to be a banner year for Starship Travel, then Covid-19 hit, which caused one of the worst pandemics in history. Travel was wiped out, worldwide. When we lost all bookings for Spring Break, Easter then beyond for the next 4 months, we were devastated. However, with our perseverance we were able to protect all our valuable customers and their investment. Not one of our clients lost their money.

Why Use a Travel Agent?
If the Covid-19 pandemic and the millions of canceled trips haven't yet convinced you,

Here we have linked articles and videos demonstrating the importance of using a travel agent, along with personal insight from clients and travel advisors. Starship Travel was able to postpone or cancel all of our trips while maintaining our clients investments because of our connections and expertise in the industry. Many who used inexperienced, or grocery-store travel agencies were not so lucky. It is worth it to work with a quality travel agent!

Sandals Reopening the Caribbean
In June, Sandals is planning to reopen most of it's Caribbean resorts.
“We are pleased to announce that all of our resorts (with the exception of our Bahamas resorts) are scheduled to reopen on June 4, 2020,” a spokesperson told Caribbean Journal. However, this date is dependent on countries opening their borders and airport restrictions, so it could change! But Sandals will be prepared to be open for guests, barring any government updates. We can't wait to get you traveling again soon!

The American Queen steamboat company is traveling to Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, the Cumberland Rivers and beyond starting in 2021. This is a great opportunity for those who are hoping to travel post-Corona virus, but are wary of airports and large crowds. A river cruise allows guests privacy and the ability to stay close to home while going on a much-needed adventure.There are many different options for all kinds of travelers.
