UP TO $30K SMALL BIZ & NONPROFITS GRANTS

Apply by September 3rd at 5 PM: Do not pass up this opportunity to apply for up to $30,000 in free money - not a loan - for COVID-related expenses dating back to March 1, 2020.

UPDATE: A few modifications have been made to the Small Business Relief Grant Application process to accommodate more small businesses and nonprofits.

The Small Business Grant assistance is a program aimed at assisting small businesses with the cost of business interruption caused by required closures and costs associated with business modifications and expenses due to the public health emergency and associated regulations and requirements. These costs need to meet the requirement of appropriate documentation including receipts, both paid and unpaid. Where invoices are not available bank and credit card statements can be scanned and used showing specific charge, date and vendor.  Please note that proper documentation is the responsibility of the applicant.

Furthermore, EDC officials have removed the prohibition of franchise applications. A franchise business may apply for these funds.

Lastly, we have just been informed that unfortunately the CARES Act legislation does not allow for funding compensation to replace lost revenue due to the pandemic.

To accommodate these modifications, whether your application is submitted or not, you can re-open your application to make any necessary changes up until Sept. 3, 2020 at 5 PM.

Please contact us if you have any questions. We are your business resource.

Apple Hill™ is known for its apple farms and family-friendly activities in the fall. Comprised of more than 50 ranches, the Apple Hill Growers Association (Apple Hill™ ) provides farm fresh fruit and vegetables, baked and canned goods, and crafts and entertainment. Most of the Apple Farms open their doors Labor Day weekend through December. But the rest of year you can find unique agricultural adventures and locally grown products down these bountiful backroads. Christmas Tree farms usually open Thanksgiving weekend but a few will open the week before. In the spring and summer berry farms and lavender farms open their doors. Wineries are open year round.

Lucinda's Country Inn has a new owner!
“Location, location, location” is what makes Lucinda’s Country Inn your destination for visiting the Fair Play Wine Country and the Amador Wine Country. Located just 10 minutes from Amador’s Shenandoah Valley, Lucinda’s Country Inn is setting new standards of excellence for El Dorado & Amador County lodging. Our contemporary arts and crafts building gives you the 5 star quality you want and deserve in upscale lodging. As we like to say, “We’re just a quick trip but a world apart and our guests say it feels like home.” In the winter we are above the fog and below the snow. In the summer we are above the heat and our nights are cool. Join us at Lucinda’s Country Inn to experience “The Fair Play Difference”.

We are nestled in the woods of the Sierra Nevada Foothills’ Gold Country, halfway between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe and south of Highway 50 between Placerville, in El Dorado County, and Plymouth, in Amador County. Our 11 acres is divided in half by Perry Creek, allowing the majority of the property to remain in its natural wooded state. The footprint of Lucinda’s Country Inn occupies less than one-fourth of the land, leaving the remainder for wildlife to flourish and roam the grounds and for you to stroll in peace and quiet around the property. Meander under the majestic oak tree, stroll down to the creek, or wander to the quiet picnic area hidden from the main house. Enjoy the patios on the upper level near Perry Creek Road or at the lower level, between the house and the Cottage, next to the gazebo. Enjoy the deer, turkey, fox, a wide variety of birds and other wildlife while you sit on your private deck.
