November Membership Luncheon ft. Joe Gothard

Public Education & Achievement in Transition

****Please note, that this event will be a week earlier than our usual monthly luncheons.

Saint Paul Public School's mission statement is "Inspire students to think critically, pursue their dreams and change the world.”".

Learn firsthand what changes Dr. Joe Gothard, Superintendant of St. Paul Public Schools, is implementing to make this statement a reality.

As the second largest school district in the state with 37,000 students and a staff of 5,000, Dr. Gothard will share his insights as well as plans for success. 
Midway Chamber Safety Policy:
The Midway Chamber of Commerce adheres to the guidelines set forth by each event venue and any additional government policy in effect. 

The Midway Chamber will have facemasks available, as well as hand sanitizer available at all in-person events. 

Saint Paul College Safety Stance 
Face coverings are required indoors on campus regardless of vaccination status.

Xcel unveils goal of carbon-neutral natural gas by 2050

Xcel Energy is aiming for "net-zero" carbon emissions from its natural gas system by 2050, an ambitious goal but one with steep challenges. The company joined just a handful of U.S. gas utilities Monday by announcing plans to extricate carbon in Minnesota and other states — including by replacing some gas with hydrogen, a cleaner alternative.
