April 20, 2020
Libraries connect communities to vital resources and information. Although our physical spaces are temporarily closed, the library remains open online.

Live Oak Public Libraries provides virtual services and digital content to support you at home. Access ebooks, movies, games and activities, virtual programs, and more - anytime and from any device.

During National Library Week and beyond, we celebrate the innovative ways libraries and library workers continue to serve during this time of crisis.

We also deeply appreciate our communities, customers, and partners. Thank you for your support of public libraries. Until we see you again, take care and stay healthy. And check out our digital resources!

Please remember:
You can continue to keep your materials until the library reopens. Overdue fines and fees are waived during the closure. Renewals, holds, and library card expiration dates have been extended.

Books & Banter Book Group

We may be apart, but we can still read together! Everyone is invited to be a part of our Books & Banter online book group on Goodreads. Get new ideas and share what you are reading!
Since April is National Poetry Month, we are focusing on works of verse.

Virtual Programming

Thanks to the thousands of you who have been joining storytimes and crafts on Facebook Live. Click here for upcoming dates and times. Note: You do not need a Facebook account to watch.
Our librarians have had such fun that they are planning even more programs - so stay tuned!

Library Online

Lately we have all had to stretch our comfort zones and adjust to an expanding online world. For some, screen time is a priority. For others, it is a luxury. Through the library online, we hope everyone is able to access the resources they need for learning and leisure.

Digital Access

Don't have a library card? Don't worry! Apply online to get a free library account for digital access. Please allow 2 business days for us to process your request. You will receive an email when your application is complete and you can start your online library experience!
