Oregon Family Support Network (OFSN) is a statewide organization providing education and advocacy from the family experience through to state government. Our work is community and family-driven to provide the best access and support to the families being served.

Better Together Virtual Parent Meetup

For families of children with behavioral, emotional, social and physical challenges. Meet other parents in a confidential, supportive setting to share experiences, successes and frustrations while exchanging ideas, learning new parenting skills and finding new tools.

Family Connections

Are you a parent or caregiver of a child experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges? Join us in a safe, welcoming space where families come together to share, listen, and support one another through life’s ups and downs. This is a place for honest conversations in a judgment-free environment, where you’ll find encouragement from others who truly understand. You’ll also gain access to helpful resources and tips for navigating services and systems, and most importantly, a sense of hope, empowerment, and community. All caregivers are welcome—parents, grandparents, foster parents, and more.

Creating Change Parents Cafe

Are you a parent or caregiver who has navigated ODHS Self-sufficiency or Child Welfare programs in Marion, Polk or Yamhill Counties?

Please join our safe and inclusive space to share your experiences, concerns and wisdom. Facilitated by Family Support Specialists with Oregon Family Support Network.


Participating families will receive a $50 stipend and $20 for food delivery for each Cafe attendance.

For families who have difficulties navigating systems and are searching for educational and general support to barriers that exist in the mental health system. Supporting the Family Peer Support Workforce Through Supervision

Join us as we explore how to effectively support the family support specialist through thoughtful and intentional supervision. You will also learn best practices for documentation and maintaining alignment with the values of peer support.

During this class, we will highlight the

importance of family members having active

participation and role in the design of their mental health crisis plan. Together we will focus on how the family and youth perspective, lived experience and culture can guide effective crisis planning.. Cost: FREE

Family Support Specialist Foundations - IN PERSON

In this virtual training we will be looking at the importance of professional ethics and personal boundaries for Family Support Specialists, as well as discuss "How do I know the difference between my personal boundaries and professional boundaries?" Cost: $470

Learn the Collaborative Problem Solving® approach & effective ways to reduce conflict • Build skills & confidence in using the CPS approach • Network & share information about community resources • Develop new understanding of challenging behavior & learn new ways to help your child • Rethink conventional approaches to behavioral difficulties and strengthen relationships • Gain support from other parents Cost: FREE

Wraparound Phase 2

In this training we will take a deeper dive into Phase 2 of Wraparound and to role of a FFS/Family Partner. We will break down the activities in this phase and how those activities support the bigger process of Wraparound. Cost: FREE
