Celebrate Earth Day!
Wed, Apr 22

The 50th anniversary of Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22.  There are many ways to make a difference.  Consider a move to lake-friendly lawn care or start a compost pile.  Choose to walk or bike instead of driving.  Upcycle, reuse, or donate items rather than throw them away.  Replace  lightbulbs with eco-friendly LED or CFL bulbs.    Get more ideas here.

Good news to note

Circulation Clerk Elizabeth Tuttle received good news last week from the University of Buffalo.  Starting this Fall, she will participate in UB's master's program in Information and Library Science.  Congratulations Elizabeth!  We are very happy for you.

You can support our efforts to expand free access to digital collections and uplifting virtual content by making a donation to Wood Library on  April 23, 2020.  Our goal is $5,000.

We know that some of you are not in a position to donate at this time, and that is okay.  For those of you who are able to help, we will gratefully accept donations of any amount.  Gifts made on April 23 will be used to purchase more ebooks and downloadable audiobooks for our collection.  If you are ready to donate today, feel free to click on the donate button below.

Thank you for supporting Wood Library!
