Last month, I was set to leave for an amazing Mexican destination, San Miguel de Allende. The weather in San Miguel at this time of the year has warm days, cool nights and low humidity unlike most popular beach destinations. Not to mention stunning architecture, delicious food and amazing experiences!
But unfortunately, the trip was cancelled at the last minute due to Covid. I ALWAYS recommend that my clients test before traveling regardless if it's required or not.
And that's exactly what my husband and I did. He tested positive, while I tested negative twice. I knew I had been exposed and didn't want to endanger other travelers, the people in Mexico or have to quarantine in a foreign country, so I stayed home. Fortunately, my husband is back to his normal self and I was able to avoid transmission.
But it was a good reminder that STUFF HAPPENS!
+ it is always better to be safe than sorry.
