Balance Wellness Education

Stop by the studio on October 28th from 2-3pm to hear Yoga Instructor Pat Heran present Breathing into the Deep Front Core .

Join us for a discussion of Pranayama (The Breath Practice) and learn how to incorporate breath into your Asana practice more fully. Pat will show us some breathing techniques and guide us through a gentle practice designed to help us maintain a calm, inner focus. We will also us the breath to strengthen our core through activation of the Bandhas.
 
This class will include a demonstration so dress comfortably!

Our Community Workshop Series is presented free of charge. Donations are accepted and will be donated to the local charity of the instructor's choosing.

Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga

Feel free to stand, sit or try a little yoga on your board! No headstands required!

This Class is 90 minutes long and will allow some time for you to become accustomed to your board and being on the water.

Please bring a water bottle and a towel. Wear clothes that you are ok with getting wet - just in case!

Address will be provided upon registration.

Yamuna Body Rolling 
for Scoliosis

Scoliosis is very often in a person's genetics, but it can also develop during birth. Other people develop their own scoliosic patterns unintentionally through their work or athletic patterns.

What every scoliosis pattern needs is first to unwind and lengthen the spine vertically as much as possible. The important thing is to keep everything moving and not calcifying into any of these patterns as we age.

Move & Meditate

Did you know that Asana was designed to make your body ready to sit in meditation? Have you always wanted to try meditation but weren't quite sure how?


Dawn Jex will show us how to open the heart chakra through gentle Asana postures to prepare for meditation. And then, Leah Rich will guide us through a Heartfulness Meditation Practice.

The Heartfulness Organization is non-profit. Donations are accepted at your discretion (and if you choose) for the Heartfulness portion of this workshop. The Asana portion is $24 or $15 with an active Class Pass.
