It seems that our theme of the week focuses on Friendship. Without friends, appreciation for them, kindness shown to them, what do we have? One of our greatest attributes, I think, is the ability to relate to others and share ourselves with those we know and care about! And how lucky we are to be able to do that. Murfee and the rest of the kids show kindness best, I think, and even when they drive us crazy, we see their love and kindness shine past and through anything. And so it is with our friends and family in an even bigger way. I absolutely love it when you come in, specially choosing fabrics and patterns for a loved one for whom you are making a special quilt/gift. Something to be remembered by, something for them to hold on to, something to come from your heart and hands especially for them! Maybe that’s why our BERNINA September theme of Love of Sewing plus Passion for creating plus Loyalty to each other strikes such a positive chord in me. It can be called Customer Appreciation Month or Love of Sewing Month or any other name, and we’re backing it up with some great specials for you: keep reading!
