Jewish Studies presents: Ethical Wills with Carol Hausman at 12:00 PM
Ethical wills are documents that let your loved ones know your values and beliefs, your important experiences, and your hopes and wishes for future generations, while at the same time helping you clarify your own values. You will have the opportunity to write a piece of your ethical will during this session to share with the group (if willing).

Using Jewish sources and experiential forms of engagement, this class will explore the philosophical and practical nuances of navigating difference, embracing diversity, and being truly inclusive in our communities. Participants will grow as effective and Jewishly-emboldened agents of welcome, safety, and solidarity, both within our spiritual home/s and beyond.   Domestic Service Mission - June 3rd
  Th e 2018 Adat Shalom Domestic Service Mission will be on Sunday, June 3rd in the Annapolis area. Mark Wolff, Bill Halpern and Rabbi Julie invite you to join our Mission. This year we will participate in Project Clean Stream,  sponsored by the Alliance for the Bay . Our commitment to tikkun olam (repair the world) dovetails with their mission to improve the quality of water flowing through the Chesapeake watershed.
 
On June 2nd, we will gather at Mark Wolff and Marilyn Kresky-Wolff's home at  5:00 P.M. for an eco-study session with Rabbi Julie, potluck dinner and Havdallah. If you have any questions, email Rabbi Julie . We hope that you will join us on this meaningful tikkun olam (repairing the world) project.

The 21%: The Lives of Arab Citizens of Israel 
at 1:00 PM
 
Adat Shalom is proud to co-sponsor and invite you to an in-depth exploration of the daily lives and challenges of Arab Citizens of Israel.
 
The program will feature the screening of the deeply moving documentary In Her Footsteps, a short film produced by Israeli high schools students as part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington's triangular school partnership program, and an in-depth discussion about Bedouin society within Israel with filmmaker Rana Abu-Fraiha and Safa Abu-Rabia, post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Anthropology, Harvard University.
