One of the major challenges for our community and companies is to attract and retain top young talent. Findlay is blessed with many strong businesses that have a need for talent that is in high demand. It is often difficult to compete with larger cities that can provide the amenities and atmosphere that young professionals are seeking.

Findlay has never had an organization where young professionals can call home and preserve their identity. The Findlay Young Professionals (FYP) was created to fill a gap for our community. FYP always maintains the focus on the development of a young professional through three initiatives: CONNECT, SERVE, LEAD.

FYP is already beginning to benefit our community through our three initiatives. Connect has hosted multiple socials for members and we have averaged over 50 attendants. Serve has donated hundreds of hours to our community in the first six months of FYP's existence. Lead has held three forums for Q&A with local leaders. We currently have 91 members. The Findlay�Hancock County Alliance is a partnership bringing growth and prosperity to the Findlay/Hancock County community. Through a strong economic development focus, leadership programs, business building initiatives and volunteer opportunities, the Alliance helps position its community among the best micropolitan communities in the United States. The Alliance is a blend of the area's best resources including the Findlay�Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, Findlay-Hancock County Economic Development Office and the Hancock County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
