This Winter, Small Actions Help Keep Tahoe Blue
Snowfall can hide harmful pollution during Tahoe’s winters. Even if you can't see them, litter and fine sediment pollution are still out there, threatening Lake Tahoe's health and clarity.

Do your part to combat pollution this winter. Follow these simple #TahoeBlueGooder tips:
Pick up and report litter using the Citizen Science Tahoe app.
Practice Lake-friendly travel habits.
Pack out everything you packed in for your sledding adventure.
(Flimsy plastic sleds are a significant source of winter pollution.)
Have a great time this winter, stay safe and remember to #RecreateResponsibly.
