Fire Insurance!!?? 12/10/25
Luke 14:26–27 (KJV 1900)
26If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:33 (KJV 1900)
33So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
OUCH!! CAN YOU SAY OUCH?????
I know not who uttered this phrase, but I must admit, I agree with it:
“BEING AND BECOMING A CHRISTIAN IS FREE..........................
BUT BEING AND BECOMING A DISCIPLE WILL COST ONE EVERYTHING!!!!!
Becoming a Christian is WONDERFUL and relatively PAINLESS!! WE simply accept the FACT that Jesus is LORD, WE agree that WE are sinners, and FREELY accept Jesus Christ SACRIFICE ON THE CRUEL CROSS OF CALVERY AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!!!
Romans 10:8–11 (KJV 1900)
8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Beloved, I receive MANY calls from people I have never met who simply were referred to me for PRAYER-I AM BLESSED AND HONORED TO RECEIVE SUCH CALLS.
My very first question to these unknown folk is to bluntly challenge them FIRST with the QUESTION-
ARE YOU SAVED??
HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART AND REPENTED OF YOUR SINS????
I never know if I will ever meet them in person or speak to these individuals again, but oftentimes I AM asked to do their burials!!!!
As I heard Erica Kirk yesterday on TV yesterday:
“OFTENTIMES WE ARE THE ONLY BIBLE OTHERS WILL EVER SEE OR READ!!”
AMEN AND AMEN!!!!!
No matter how many times one is HEALED and/or DELIVERED, ultimately WE ALL will die.............................. SELAH-THINK ABOUT THAT.
SO...................................May I pose this question to YOU, dear reader.....
ARE YOU SAVED??
HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART AND REPENTED OF YOUR SINS????
Lastly, WHEN, not if, YOU die, are you ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that YOU will go to Heaven????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Last week I received a phone call from a young man who just recently had a wonderful encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. He had many years ago accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart but had become bust with “the affairs of this life” and lived a “lukewarm” existence in Christ.
The savage murder of Charlie Kirk rocked his very soul and woke up his eternal spirit!!!
He is now “OM FIRE FOR JESUS” but..........................................
The CARES and the CALL of THIS life never give up-NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP!!!!
Our adversary, satan, well knows HOW to trip up Jesus' followers!!!
Oftentimes, it is NOT trial and tribulation that thwarts our becoming DISCIPLES of Jesus Christ and not merely followers, BUT.....................
IT IS THE THIRD SEED THAT JESUS PREACHED ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matthew 13:22 (KJV 1900)
22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
Of all the satanic traps I have observed in my 50 plus years of ministry, this SEED is the most dangerous and powerful tool that the devil utilizes!!!!!!
“The care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.”
Our jobs, our careers, our education, our families-I could list endlessly the things that satan will use to thwart our effectiveness in following Jesus!!!!!!
ONLY ONE LIFE WILL SOON BE PAST
ONLY THE THINGS DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST.
At the finish line of each of OUR lives, only one thing will last eternally:
ONLY THE THINGS DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST!!!!
FIRE INSURANCE???
I PRAY that everyone reading this today has this ETERNAL FIRE INSURANCE promised in the above quoted:

The OLD adage is still simply true:
“YOU CANNOT HAVE YOUR CAKE AND IT IT TOO!!!!”
IF YOU want to be a DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST, IT WILL COST YOU EVERYTHING!!!
In order to obtain the “PEARL OF GREAT PRICE” found in following Jesus, YOU MUST SELL “ALL THAT YOU HAVE” in order to obtain it!!!!!
JUST THE FACT...............................
