Dear Friends:

If it will just quit raining - we have a construction job to complete. We are prepping our hillside
sitting area for a natural gas firepit. We have comtemplated installing one for several years and now looks like the time as Beechwood Inn needs to constantly "up its game." We are just not looking forward to the mud and constuction activities. The patio area will be flagstone with a stone fire pit on a timer. We'll keep you informed on the progress.

Apr 26 - 28: 2019 Georgia Bigfoot Conference
The First Annual Georgia Bigfoot Conference  and North Georgia Comicon  will be held at the  Rabun County Civic Center  in Clayton, GA. Long the curator of many Bigfoot reports, the Conference explores sightings, Bigfoot tracking techniques, and new research in the general area of cryptozoology. 
  • Friday, April 26, 2019, from 6-8PM, Meet the speakers and celebrities at VIP Reception (location to be announced)
  • Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 10AM-5PM, Speakers and panels on Bigfoot and the Paranormal all day long. Comicon Vendors will be there as well!
  • Sunday, April 28, 2019 beginning 9 AM, Bigfoot Exploration tours with Matt Delph (times and meeting locations will be announced
RECIPE: Braised Painted Hills Beef Short Ribs
What really makes this recipe is the quality of the meat, and you can get these boneless. This is the most tender product we can source. 

We pan sear them until caramelized and then simmer them in red wine and homemade broth with vegetables.
