Case Managers Help Clients Break Barriers

Springboard Community Services works to provide culturally competent, accessible care to minority and marginalized communities.

Our Family Violence Project (FVP) is an example of how Springboard connects with all people.

In Baltimore, the Project's Case Managers (pictured l-r) Quetsy Bosque-Lugo, Becca Mann, and Adriana Ngom meet clients on their own terms rather than dictating what the client should address. Requests can include navigating important life milestones such as purchasing a car or enrolling in a four-year college or obtaining vital identification.

To receive case management from the Family Violence Project, clients must have experienced some form of violence in their life. By addressing a client's pressing needs, Springboard's teams foster peace of mind and a strong show of support.

Learning about Adverse Childhood Experiences --an Aha! Moment for Moms

Sharing information about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) has proven to be a critical learning experience for many new mothers. ACEs are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (ages 0-17 years).

Learning about ACEs was transformative for Susan, a mother of two and a new group member.

Unforgettable summer days

creating a fire-breathing dragon

After eight weeks of working with glass and ceramic tiles, young adults from Springboard's Youth Resource Center (YRC), have created a magnificent, playful four- foot mosaic of a fire-breathing dragon.

Art instructors from the non-profit, Art with a Heart led the students through weekly art workshops at the Center to create the project.

Not only did the teen members develop a new art skill but they formed valuable friendships through their collaborative process.

In September, the magnificent mosaic goes on display in Springboard's Youth Resource  Center. located in the Baltimore office on Falls Road
