A Newsletter for Ministry Leaders

Created to Be...At Camp this Summer!

Camp isn't just for youth and camp counselors, there is a place for you here this summer! You are invited to "come and see" what God is up to at your camp and lend a hand! Whether you join a meal, a day, or a week, you can be sure that being at camp allows you to form deeper connections with your congregation's children and youth. Contact Program Director, Deacon Stephanie to make arrangements.

NEW: You can be part of the team that makes summer camp possible by volunteering as a Camp Chaplain. This volunteer role serves as a pastoral presence for staff and campers, allowing you to plug into the fun, theological education in all its forms, and community. Adult-friendly lodging is provided.

Sugar Creek Bible Camp is seeking volunteer Chaplains for the following weeks:

  • July 14-19
  • July 21-26

Resource: Blessing for Campers

Written by Program Director, Deacon Stephanie Engel, this blessing can be used for a children's sermon or temple talk in your worship service. For fun, invite campers to bring their sleeping bags, water bottles, or flashlights to the blessing. Or give this blessing to families to bless their camper at home.

Share with Sugar Creek how you use this resource to be featured on the camp's social media!
