God's Word Comes Near! Summer 2025

"The World is near you, on your lips and in your heart." -Romans 10:8

This upcoming summer, campers and families will be exploring how our God comes nearer to us through trusting, blessing, listening, serving, and following. Through dynamic stories of angel messengers, feeding the 5,000, and a valley of dry bones, your congregation's youth will leave knowing that our God reaches out to us and inspires us to reach out to others. Watch the Sugar Creek Website for resources that make it easy for you to invite your community to the immersive ministry at Sugar Creek.

Registration Opens November 1, 2024! Summer Staff Application and LEAD Program Application open same day.

Confirmation Camp 2025

Embark on a thrilling adventure with your youth at Confirmation Camp! Nothing beats bonding over meaningful activities, making new pals, learning from caring young adults of faith, and soaking up the beauty of nature. Clergy and ministry leaders enjoy daily 90-minute congregational time to grow lasting relationships within your church group and focus on your class's unique goals. Adult leaders get to join in on the fun too! So pack your bags, to invest in your youth with an week-long immersion in faith and life together. Create unforgettable memories to inspire lifelong discipleship through crucial connections to the life and ministry of your church.

Sugar Creek Bible Camp is excited to offer 2 weeks of Confirmation Camp in 2025:

Option 1: June 15-20

Option 2: July 20-25

Once you have selected the week you will be attending, contact office@sgrcreek.org to set up your group registration. Registration for all Summer Camps opens November 1!

NEW: Individual Registrations. In addition to group registrations for Confirmation, Sugar Creek is excited to announce that individual campers can now join Confirmation Camp.

This opportunity is especially for youth whose congregations may not have a confirmation program or a leader available for a week long camp. Sugar Creek Staff will lead activities in lieu of Congregational Time, with additional activities developed by Deacon Stephanie to add in catechism and church life themes. This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to connect with others going through the same faith milestone.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Road to Bethlehem

Road to Bethlehem is an interactive drive-through live nativity at Sugar Creek Bible Camp held on the first Saturday of December. After, guests are invited into the Manna Center for hot chocolate and Advent-themed activities.

Sugar Creek is looking for 6 congregations or families to adopt a post on the nativity trail, with 2-8 helpers for each station. You'll receive a script, props, costumes, a heat source, and a few live animals! You provide the people and bring back great photos to share your adventure!

Have old Christmas pageant costumes? Sugar Creek is seeking donations of gently used costumes for events like Road to Bethlehem.
