Pulse Survey #3 Results

Thank you to everyone who participated in the third (and final!) pulse survey this year . Your responses on the three survey questions, as well as your narrative comments, are incredibly valuable. Please see the document titled Pulse Survey Feb 20 for the aggregated survey data. This time around I added a column to give parents an idea of where we rank in the network, and the data is very encouraging.  Out of 23 Great Hearts schools reporting, we were #6 or higher for each question including #1 for the question: “My child(ren)’s experience with the school so far this year has been excellent.”  Thank you for recognizing all of the good work happening here at Archway Arete! One narrative trend I noticed were questions/concerns regarding teacher retention. As we do every year, we will bid a fond farewell to any departing teachers in our final newsletter in May so that parents and students will know who is returning and who is not. To give this question some context, the percentage of teacher attritions last year at Archway Arete was 18.8% and the network average was 16.3%. Like many of our families, retaining our teachers is very much on my mind and will remain a top priority this year as it is every year. If you would like to discuss this topic or any other, I encourage you to attend a Headmaster Coffee, PSO board meeting, or send me an email. Have a wonderful Spring Break!

Re-enroll at Kneaders Tomorrow

To alleviate the congestion of parking on campus, join us at Kneaders on Friday, March 6th from 7:30-9:30 am to submit your re-enrollment paperwork and enjoy some complimentary treats and coffee from the bakery. Please  log in to your portal here  to complete and print re-enrollment paperwork. All paperwork submitted by Friday, March 6th will be entered into a drawing for one of 2 free yearbooks!

Are You Ready For Some Basketball?

Join the Archway Arete and Arete Prep teachers as they go head-to-head in a fun game of basketball in support of the 2019 Tax Credit Drive! We are grateful to our families who designate their Public School Tax Credit to Arete. We hope you enjoy this fun event as a token of our appreciation.

What's the cost?

Make or schedule your Arizona Public School Tax Credit contribution and you get free entrance! If you have already taken your 2019 Tax Credit you will get free entrance as well!

How do I sign up?

Once you have made or scheduled your tax credit , RSVP HERE . Space in the gym is limited, 4 spots PER FAMILY maximum. Please note: Students 15 years and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Fireside with Dad

The PSO Dad's Club is bringing the campfire experience close to home! Fathers, grandfathers, and uncles are invited to enjoy a night around a campfire with their children as they cook hot dogs and roast marshmallows for s'mores over the fire. Younger children will be entertained with a camping-themed animated movie. Bring your appetite, as hot dogs, s'mores, and hot chocolate are provided for free! Bratwursts, snacks, and soda will be available for purchase.  Admission is free !  See this flyer for more information.

Mix and Mingle

Join PSO for an adult-only social on Thursday, March 19th at 6:30 pm in the campus library. Hors d'oeuvre and drinks will be served. This is an excellent opportunity for current and incoming Arete parents to meet all the existing PSO leads. Interested in becoming part of the PSO team? Come hear more details about roles and positions we need filled for next year.
