Fireworks, Festivities, and Fun this July in Salem, Massachusetts!

July in Salem kicks off with a full roster of things to do! The month starts off with a bang with the annual Independence Day Celebration on July 4th. Festivities will kick off at 5 pm on Derby Wharf with a performance by the Adam Matthew Trio. For more information regarding the evening schedule see our blog post below. The 283rd Negro Election Day celebration will take place this month at Salem Willows Park. The Parade will take place the same day at 12 pm starting at Shetland Park. Stop by the Salem Farmers Market on Thursdays at Derby Square from 3 pm to 7 pm for all your fresh produce needs. Enjoy the warm weather on a ride around the harbor with Mahi Mahi Harbor Cruises, Schooner FAME, or Sunset Sail Salem. Explore new exhibits on display at the PEM, Satanic Temple, Salem Arts Association, and Old Town Hall.

283rd Negro Election Day Celebration

July 15th, 8am - 8pm


Come on down to Salem Willows Park for the 283rd Negro Election Day State Holiday Festival hosted by Salem United, Inc! Entry to the festival is free.

North Shore Concert Band at Salem Willows Park

Tuesdays, 7pm - 9pm


The North Shore Concert Band will perform its annual Summer Series of free outdoor concerts at the Robert Hayes Bandshell at Salem Willows Park beginning Tuesday, July 11th, and continuing every Tuesday through August 17th.
