Dear RMBA Community,
Tu BiShvat Sameach! While it may be hard to believe with all of our cold weather, today we celebrate the rebirth of the trees, flowers and all the greenery that Hashem created to beautify our world. We are reminded that the act of rejuvenation is a gift and blessing that Hashem has bestowed upon us. Whether the weather is stormy or clear, the possibilities are endless if we are really looking.
Today, RMBA celebrates its 100th day of school and I celebrate the first 100 days as RMBA’s Head of School. Since coming to Houston and being given the esteemed honor of guiding our school into its next chapter, I have realized how much we are just a young sapling. We possess countless potential and with just the right amount of sunlight, water and nurturing we will grow into the strong and tall red wood that we are destined to be.
We have been busy at RMBA nurturing our tree and are empowered by the work we have already undertaken and what we have in store for the rest of this year and beyond. Take a look at all that we have accomplished this year and what we have in store for our school, for our children and for the future of our budding school.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Jordan Silvestri
Head of School
