More than 800 kids are signed up to get a free book each month in the mail; books are age-appropriate and available in English and bilingual English-Spanish.

We had a blast at the free hands-on arts & crafts activity at this year's StoryWalk^®. More fun can still be had as the story rotates throughout the county; info is available online.

Napa County Child Support Services is hosting a free back-to-school backpack giveaway (first come, first served, based on need) from 9 a.m. to noon on Sat., August 9 at Third and Coombs Streets in Napa (across from the Presbyterian church downtown). View the flyer.

Thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Napa for their generous support of the Napa County Imagination Library!

Please note their annual kid-friendly pancake breakfast takes place from 8 - 11 a.m. Sat., August 23 at the Salvation Army in Napa - and it's free for kids 5 and under!
