Dear Parents,

We will be going on as scheduled with our school Mass tomorrow. It will by a hybrid virtual Mass, meaning that I will be celebrating Mass from the chapel and it will be streamed into each classroom live. I have been praying for along time about this and decided to go through with it after taking every precaution.

Communion will be distributed to each class, one at a time, by a minister who has passed the Covid-19 protocol and who will properly sanitize their hands before distribution. They will be wearing masks as well.

I will be giving instructions about how to receive communion during the Mass. Freshmen Theology teacher, Mr. Cimorelli, will also explain to students how we receive either a blessing or communion properly. It will be abundantly clear that students DO NOT have to receive communion if they do not want to. They can receive a blessing or just remain in the classroom.

I understand that this is stressful time, which is part of the reason why I believe having Mass will be good for our mental, physical and most importantly spiritual well-being. If you have any concerns please let me know.

In Christ,
