In Kids Worship this week they will be learning it is important to be kind to the people closest to you, focusing on the story of Ruth & Naomi in Ruth 1-2.

Ash Wednesday Service

February 14, 6 p.m. | Narthex

Ash Wednesday is an ancient tradition of the church which begins the Lenten journey of preparation for Easter. We invite you to join us in the Narthex Wednesday evening for an all-ages, experiential worship service of repentance & confession with flame & ash.

St Pete Arts Academy Enrolling Now

The St. Pete Arts Academy is a new ministry of First Baptist! We are offering small group and individual music lessons for kids in our community and a Middle School and High School Show Choir directed by our own Michael McCarthy.

Called Church Business Meeting

Charles Hatley has resigned from the Executive Leadership Team.

In keeping with the bylaws, the Nominating Team has selected Amber Ruiz to serve the remaining portion of the final year of his unexpired term. This announcement serves as notice that we will have a Called Church Meeting at the conclusion of worship on Sunday, February 18 for the sole purpose of affirming Amber Ruiz nomination to the ELT.
